Lop software comes in several variants which may consist of a toolbar with links to Lop.com. It may also install a phone dialler, add new links to your favorites, change your web browser's default homepage to one of the cloned sites and change your search settings to use Lop.com. The web pages you visit may be monitored for keywords so it can display targeted ad links on its toolbar. There is also a hard-to-remove variant of Lop which is able to resist detection and removal by using using random filenames.

Remove Lop.com and Uninstall Lop Toolbar Instructions:

In some cases it may be possible to remove Lop using the Windows Add/Remove Programs utility. Close all your browser windows, click the Windows 'Start' menu, select the 'Control Panel', click 'Add/Remove Programs' utility. Use the following list of Lop programs to identify the versions of Lop installed on your PC. These program names may have random or nonsense deviations from the list but still recognizable. Select 'Change/Remove' to uninstall them from your system:

Please note that it's possible that you won't find all of Lop's programs in your Add/Remove Programs list.

There may be a Lop icon (globe type icon) in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, near the clock. Right click on it and then click Menu > Help > Uninstall which should run a Lop uninstaller.
